- The data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
- The person exercises their right to object“for reasons related to their particular situation.” The data controller must then demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds to oppose it.
- The data has been subject to unlawful processing.
- The data collected concerns a minor.
- Erasure is required by a legal obligation.
